Current Work

The Shape of Release is my current series exploring the tension between containment and expansion through paintings of everyday domestic objects and elements of nature. Familiar forms gradually shift, stretch, and break beyond their boundaries, suggesting a quiet resistance to imposed limits. Moving between the recognisable and the surreal, the works use subtle gestures and spatial tension to evoke states of growth, unease, and transformation.

Part of this series will be exhibited at Laughing Fox Café, Emerald, as part of the PAVED Festival (Performing And Visual Arts in Emerald & District) 2026, a celebration of community arts and creativity in the Eastern Dandenong Ranges.
